YELVERTON Golf Club ladies played for a September Medal and Breast Cancer Now Brooch.

The winner of the silver division was  Gilly Jarvis net 73, runner up, Caroline Theyer net 77; in the bronze division the winner was Linda Woods net 75 and runner up,  Christine Longden net 77.

In the ladies four ball better ball on September 7 - 1, Denise Wills and Linda Woods (Yelverton) 45 points; 2,  Lorna Rolfe and Mo Huggins (Ashbury), 44pts; 3, Sharon Stevens and Liz Blight Royal North Devon, 42pts. Nearest the pin on the sixth, Sue Rumbold, Yelverton; on the 12th,  Liz Blight, RND.

The Joan Foster Cup to the best Yelverton pair went to Denise Wills and Linda Woods.
