A TEAM from Hurdwick Golf Course travelled to Bovey Tracey Golf Club for a friendly match on Thursday, September 3.

After what had been a rather disappointing month weather wise the teams were blessed with a beautiful day for an excellent match.

The hospitality, organisation and warmth of welcome resulted in an extremely enjoyable day for all.

The result, however, was not the one Hurdwick was looking for. The team came away losing 4 points to 2. The club is looking forward to a return match early in the new year which they hope will be just as enjoyable.
