ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club an individual Stableford competition for the Kennard Winter Cup was held.

The winner of division one was Kevin Perryman with 41 points; Malcolm Hooper was second with 39pts after countback from, in third Colin Cornwall also with 39pts. Division two was won by Paul Rogers with 39pts, Paul MacDonald was second with 38pts and Daniel Hudson was third with 37pts.

Steve Pike was the winner of division three and the Kennard Winter Cup with 42pts, Henry Harbron was second with 40pts and Kevin Harding took third place with 39pts.

The ladies’ section entered a drawn partners better ball competition for the Jarman bowl and the winners of the trophy with 37pts were Sue Williams and Maggie Caws winning on the back nine from Elaine Marwood and Babs Beaney placing them in second.
