AT last, after four postponements due to bad weather, the Tavistock Golf Club men veterans finally played for the Ken Cole Trophy. 

Conditions were still not good  but 38 golfers braved the cold and biting wind.

The winner, with a good score of 36 pts, was James McGregor; second Julian Collison 34 pts and third David Bryant 33 pts on count back from Paul Congo and Rick Harrison. 

The weather was not so kind to the seven brave golfers who played in the February Stableford but despite the conditions Peter Floyd scored an excellent 39 points.  Close behind was Dave Symons on 38pts and third Rob Score with 37pts. 

The Tavistock ladies’ monthly medal was, unfortunately, for the players cancelled — also because of the weather.
