ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club an individual Stableford competition for the Cyril Masters Salver was held.

The winner of division one was Colin Cornwall with 40 points, closely followed into second by Steve Peake with 39pts after countback on the back nine from, in third Evan Rees.

The winner of division two and the Cyril Masters Salver with an excellent 43pts was Dale Chadwick. Second place was taken by Trevor Parker with 40pts Richard Reid was third with 39pts.

Division three was won by Andrew Rogers with 37pts Steve Latham was second with 35pts on the back nine placing Steve Gregory third also with 35.

On Wednesday the ladies entered a Greensomes Stableford competition the winners with 41pts were Sue Williams and Francis Harbron. Second place was awarded to Elaine Marwood and Maggie Caws with 38pts and Carol Skrzypczak and Cherry James were third with 37pts.

After qualifying in the South West Regional medal finals Sue Stanbury won a place in the England Grand Medal finals held at Frilford Heath in Oxfordshire held last Thursday.
