IT was a wonderful, warm and sunny day at Yelverton Golf Club for Angela Reed’s ladies’ captain’s day.

The game consisted of a three ball team playing a 123 format — one score to count on the first, two on the second and three on the third, and then repeat for the rest of the holes.

The ladies were able to buy ‘Mulligans’ for £1 before the start of the game.

The Mulligans were allowed to be taken anywhere on the course, all proceeds from which went towards Angela’s charity Barnados.

That evening the ladies attended a two course dinner at the golf club.

A raffle raised money for the ladies’ captain’s charity.
