Tavistock 12

Bude 0

TAVISTOCK headed into the game knowing only a victory would do to keep their aspirations of promotion alive, and straight from the off, the home team pressured Bude heavily — epitomised by the hard running of Henry Chamberlin and the team was quickly on the score sheet.

This early dominance set the tone for the entire first half, and the goals kept on flowing to reach 8-0 by half time.

Even with Bude making some personnel and tactical changes, Tavistock were passing the ball well and creating plenty of chances which allowed the likes of Rory Carr and Andy Berry to push forward, to only increase the pressure on the Bude defence.

More goals followed in the second half and with tiring legs more and more opportunities arose.

In the end this was a comfortable result for Tavistock.

Goals from Simon Fenwick (4), Tom Homey (4) Ollie Richards (2), Andy Berry (1) Dom Stanbury (1).
