JOHN Kinsey, Lloyd Reynolds and Dave Nicks earlier this month produced another fundraising epic at North Tawton Bowls Club.

So far the enterprising trio have raised thousands of pounds for the club and this time the Fun Day event raised an estimated £1,500 plus.

The Fun Day consisted of teams from the various pubs in North Tawton in a round robin of game of bowls. The green was full of much laughter and good spirit.

The Fountain Inn team of Tony Fisher, Bethany Bygraves and Alan Ponsford emerged victorious.

The bowling ladies were again much to the fore with Jan Summers, Margaret Denham and Anita Lamey cooking the barbecue and Clare Kinsey and Emma Nicks running the bar.

Club chairman Mike Thwaites said: ‘Well done to all concerned for a great community effort to raise funds and have fun at North Tawton Bowling Club.’
