Horrabridge Rangers 6
Activate 5
HORRABRIDGE picked up their second win of the season in a game that saw James Follett score a double brace and stand in keeper Darren Cox save a penalty.
Activate scored first in the 10th minute, then five minutes later Follett was brought down in the box, allowing Joshua Robins to smash home from the spot.
Horrabridge's second and third goals coming from two great pieces of interplay between Follett and Robins, with Robins providing the assist for Follett on both occasions to make it 3-1 at half time.
The second-half kicked off and as on other occasions this season Horrabridge conceded an own goal by their defender Ross Allen. This only caused Rangers to raise their game and they hit back with two in five minutes.
Josh Robins scored from a well-placed Jack Northam through ball, before the Follett-Robins partnership linked up for Follett's hat-trick.
Follett's fourth came shortly after with a Warren Smith pass on his debut. Dan Bailey then gave Activate a way back into the game hand balling in the box, which keeper Darren Cox saved well. He could not save the second penalty moments later after Kevin Davey brought a player down in the box. Activate saw themselves score another two in the last five minutes to provide a nailbiting finish, with Horrabridge holding out for the three points.
