Okehampton firsts 6
OKEHAMPTON kept up their unbeaten start with a dazzling display in Truro, dominating from the off.
The opening goal came after lovely build up play on minutes into the game, Luke Miller, Andy Paterson and Tom Forrester all involved to find Mark Parsons who slotted the ball between the goalkeeper's legs.
Oke's midfield three dominated and looked calm and assured while the forwards created havoc.
The second goal came soon after when Rob Hall found Forrester, who fed Miller down the right and he drew the keeper and squared the ball across for Parsons to double the lead.
Chances were flowing and the visitors were flying and the third was duly delivered when an attack broke down Paterson was there to feed Forrester who calmly lifted the ball into the corner of the goal. The hosts did created two chances at the end of the half, the first was saved by Andy Harvey and cleared by the covering Sam Whalley and the second was a superb save from Harvey to deflect the ball wide.
In the second half the home side couldnt find away to contain the away sides passing and movement, Forrester found Parsons who drew the keeper and walked round him to fire home his hat-trick. Truro efforts were blocked by the exceptional tackling of Jonny Aylen, Luke Liversidge, Will Cooper and Rob Hall.
At the other end Lewis Day almost got on the end of a cross and Josh Speak found Forrester who fired inches wide. Miller had a shot saved off the line.
Man of the match Parsons grabbed his fourth when the visitors broke down play and countered with Speak, finding Parsons who ran from the 25 to beat the last defender and slot the ball past the keeper.
The sixth goal came from Miller when Parsons played him through he calmly rounded the keeper and tapped hometo complete the scoring.
