THE home side took the lead, thanks to Paul Simpson hitting the target from a Chris Bray pass.

In the second half Tavistock (pictured in red) came back when Connor Steer equaliser with a shot from just outside the box.

The honours though went to Bere Alston when Aaron Johnson was fouled in the penalty area. Up stepped Paul Simpson to hit the winner.
