THE Tavistock Community FC U10s team had a great result on Saturday in their Devon Junior Minor league semi-final match.

With a strong second half team performance they came back from 1-0 down to win and progress to the DJM mini soccer final which will be held at Crowndale, Tavistock on the April 30.

This team has come such a long way in a year when they started with barely enough numbers to make and team and now have 18 players that regularly train and play each week.

The club is thrilled that Howdens of Tavistock have sponsored the team enabling it to buy much needed rain jackets for the players.
