A POSITIVE attitude from the Callington squad over the past two games bore fruit on a damp evening at Ginsters Marsh on Wednesday as Callington Town produced a fine performance to demolish St Dennis.

Club captain Ryan Lucassi led a masterful display with the opening goal on 15 minutes. Six minutes into the second half Lee Robinson doubled the advantage as the Marshmen began to dominate play but it was only in the last 10 minutes when they gained just rewards for their hard work. 

Sam Morgan added a third on 83 minutes and he was followed by Andre Rodyukov who scored a rare header before Sam Marker completed the scoring from the penalty spot deep into injury time.

Another positive was the return to action of Town’s experienced keeper Sam Borthwick and he was rewarded with the first clean sheet of the season.
