ARGYLE returned to home action after eight away fixtures in a row and put in a hard-working performance against Bovey Tracey in a game in which they were never outclassed.

Okehampton were missing key defenders plus influential midfielder Liam MacDonald, but were pleased to welcome back Ed Squire, Stuart Entwhistle and Redd Cann, all of whom had good games.

After a fairly even first half, Bovey went in one up at the interval after Chester Walters finished well following an Argyle defensive mix-up.

Okehampton levelled soon after the restart, when Ed Bradshaw finished with a fine glancing header from a corner. However,the spoils went to Bovey as Walters put them ahead and with 20 minutes left, A goal from Luke Durham put the game out of Argyle’s reach.
