ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club an individual medal competition for the Stanley Bridges Salver was held. Evan Rees was the winner of division one with an impressive nett 63.

Gareth Holt was second with a nett 65 but he did achieve best gross (68) of the day and was awarded the Stanley Bridges Salver. Third, with a nett 66 was Steve Penna. Division two was won by Ron Copeland with a nett 65 on the back nine from Sam Woollacott. In third with nett 66 was Paul Fewings.

The winner of division three with nett 69 was Tony Fisher closely followed by David Grimes with nett 70 and in third with nett 71 was Bob Barrett.
