Neil Marks, a spokeman for project, said: 'The swimmers all enjoyed themselves and were enthusiastic about further developing their established swimming technique under the watchful eye and direction of the coach Liz Webb and volunteers from the club.
'All the swimmers worked hard and rose to the challenges that were put to them with confidence visibly growing as the session progressed.
'Initial assessments of the attendees suggested that there is good potential to be developed over the coming season.' The next session is due to take place on Saturday, May 19 at Meadowlands. There is space and availability to attend future sessions.
