KELLY College swimming pool manager Liz Vernon supervised a great week of 'kidz crash courses' last week.

Children from Tavistock and the surrounding area attended a swim session at the Kelly pool lasting for 30 minutes every day.  The courses were for children aged four and over from beginners up to and including club swimmers.

Liz said: 'This is a great way for beginners to build confidence in the water and increase their water skills and for the swimmers the courses focus on technique and cover all four strokes.'

She plans to put more of these courses on for local children during the summer half term and the summer holidays.
