ROBIN Rich, a trustee of the Tavistock Specials is pictured above holding cheque for £5,000 to support the club before the new football season kicks off! Devon County Council's small grant scheme support this popular club which is an important group in Tavistock and the surrounding areas. The TaviSpecials give opportunities for those with disabilities and their carers to enjoy being part of the local sporting community. Robin said: 'The Devon County Council's ongoing support of the Specials is much appreciated and it is great we are recognised in this way so our team can run the club as professionally as we can to support the members, families and carers. 'Since becoming a trustee two years ago I have really enjoyed being a part of this club and have made yet more friends from its committee and members. I see first hand the pleasure everyone gets from the group and on behalf of all the trustees we wish the Tavispecials all the best in the Devon Ability Counts leagues this season.'
