COTEHELE Quay Gig Club had a good day out at Looe Regatta last Saturday. The sea conditions were perfect for them as river rowers used to flat water but the course was quite tricky with three buoy turns. The club took seven crews in total and the best result of the day came from its U16s' crew who faced strong opposition but were placed second. Rita Hoile, on behalf of the club, said: 'It was so nice to see so may of our social rowers who came along to support plus many family members who joined us for the day.'
