A RIDER with Tavistock bike team Lifer BMX has set up a special charity to raise money for cancer charity CLIC Sargent — and his outstanding success so far has attracted more than £4,000.

Matt Dalley, aged 19, has a special reason behind his efforts, as he himself has been diagnosed with leukaemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Bristol.

Tavistock firm Dartmoor Cycles, who have recently merged with Lifer BMX, presented Matt with an early Christmas present — a new BMX frame and a goody bag from Seventies Distribution who supply BMX gear nationally.
