CHAGFORD Cricket Club are hoping In 2013 to further develop its young cricketers, as well as welcome new players.

Neil Rowlands from the club said: 'The programme will hopefully include, U9s local and district tournaments; an U11s and U13s league teams; a girls section, which will play tournaments, and for the older players we have entered a third team into the Devon Men's League, which will act as a bridge from youth to senior cricket.

'With this in mind we have set up the following  net sessions in February and March to help us prepare for the season.'

The cost will be £3 a session (or £15 for six sessions).

For years 3-6 coaching starts on Saturday, February 9 between 2.30pm and 4pm Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton.

For years 7 plus it starts on Sunday, February 10 between 3pm and 5pm.
