AFTER an even exchange for the first 20 minutes it was Mount Gould that had the first chance to score but a superb interception by James Aggis for Tavistock prevented the chance.

It was then Tavistock's turn to turn the pressure on with half chances from Ben Stephens and Lee Wicket and the teams went in at half time 0-0.

The second half started brightly for Tavistock Community with Seb Krotke, Lee Wicket, James Phillpots, Ross Sherrell and Ben Stephens causing the Mt Gould defence all sort of problems.

However it was Mount Gould that took the lead against the run of play

Tavistock replied when Seb Krotke was released by a through ball from James Phillpotts who ran clear of the Mount Gould defence before slotting the ball under the visiting goalie.

In Tavistock's next attack from down the left a great pass from Matt White to James Phillpotts set Ben Stephens off who's first shot was blocked only for the ball to came straight back to him and he tucked home the rebound.

With seven minutes left the visitors scored an equaliser.
