CALSTOCK Cricket Club was delighted to host an U9 indoor cricket festival on behalf of the Cornwall Youth Cricket League.

Teams from Menheniot/Looe CC, Callington CC, Truro and Perranporth CC and the PSP Solutions sponsored team from Calstock CC, played out matches over three weekends at Callington Community College.

Boys and girls enjoyed the opportunity for some friendly competition in a 12 over a side, pairs cricket format and with coaches and parents on hand to cheer the sides along, the event was very much a success.

Calstock CC hopes they will be able to run a similar event in the run up to the 2014 season.

On the final weekend, Callington emerged as the winners.
