Plymouth and West Devon division three Princetown 0

IN one of the only Sunday fixtures to go ahead, Horrabridge ended up comfortable winners at Mary Tavy.

Despite the final scoreline, it took 15 minutes for Rangers to open up the scoring when good play from Donald Beech set up Colin Groombridge to smashed the ball home.

Bill Stephens scored soon after chasing up on a keeper spill and his second moments later with a cool finish.

Rupert Sherrell scored the fourth from the spot before Stephens completed his hat-trick to make it 0-5 at half time.

Horrabridge substitute Derek Harris scored his first from the spot five minutes in and his second a few minutes later.

Horrabridge were on a roll and Jermaine Northam's tap in goal was followed by a Don Beech tight angle finish before Groombridge scored his second slotting low in the corner of the goal.

Arthur Johnson got the 11th before Derek Harris completed his hat-trick from distance.

Horrabridge would have scored more but for several failed attempts and some good on the line defending from Princetown. Horrabridge are now clear at the top of the table by three points.
