With about 63 members and guests attending it was already on track for a good evening. Head chef and organiser, Lyn Seeley, was joined by a crew of lady members who produced a fine three course meal.
During the evening there were two presentations made. The first one was the presentation of the Pilgrims Triples Trophy to the ladies, which they won this year for the second time, narrowly beating Plympton by one point.
The second presentation was also to the ladies, and this was for winning the ’Men versus Ladies’ club competition which is held every year. This is a match that produces a lot of friendly rivalry between the teams. The ladies challenged the men to try to take the award away from them in 2016, if they are able!
