YELVERTON Bowling Club are proud of one of their younger up and coming members, James Bruce, who has just won this year’s men’s novice bowling competition at the Plymouth Life Centre.

This week he was presented with his award by Keith Young the president of the Plymouth Life Centre Indoor Bowling Club. James is 15 and is playing in his first season indoors.

Meanwhile another Yelverton member has also achieved great success at the Plymouth Life Centre playing bowls. Louise Matthews, who is 13, was the runner up in the ladies’ novice competition.
