MEMBERS at North Tawton Bowling Club are eagerly awaiting another pro-active summer season of bowls.

Captain John Kinsey mobilised the troops to attend to the green and surrounds during the winter months and much work has been done on the playing surface by Rob Arscott and Dave Cooper.

Handy men Eddie Pike and Tom Watson and part time bowlers are adding their expertise to maintaining the facilities.

Fixture secretary Rob Arscott has arranged a full schedule of bowls.

The club is holding an open day on Saturday, April 11 at 2.30pm. Potential players or returning ones — all welcome.

Club night is every Monday and all newcomers are ensured of a warm welcome no matter what age. gender or ability.
