THE TAMAR Valley Pool League presentation night went down really well at the Tavy Club in Tavistock earlier this month. More than 50 players from across the league were there for the awards evening for the season's team and player achievements awards including singles, doubles, veterans' cup, knockout cup, division runners up and winners. Robert Hicks, the Tamar Valley Pool League secretary, said: 'This last winter season (2013-2014) we had three divisions with nine teams in each division from across the Tamar Valley and more than 240 registered players of all ages.
