THIS game was over after 25 minutes — after Bere Alston's Will Westlake was red carded for a foul. Tavistock were already one up and McGowan beat the offside to blast home-side's second. It resulted after a good speedy run was once again speared past Bere's keeper.

Bere Alston controlled the second half but had no way past the Tavistock defence with Evans' outstanding in defence.

When Bere's wayward shooting was on target Tavistock's keeper Castle was more than up to the task.

Bere Alston United veteran's played Mount Gould on Sunday and won after a penalty shoot out, 4-2. It means they face Tavistock at Bere Alston in the semi-final.
