BAT's Badminton Club are looking forward to the new badminton season which starts for them at 7pm on Thursday, September 6 at Bere Alston Primary School.

Any adults interested in playing league badminton are welcome to come along.

There are opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience badminton.

Both Tavistock Community Sports Centre and Parklands Leisure Centre, Okehampton, run Sunday mornings 'No-Strings' badminton sessions where you just turn up, pay your money and play,

BAT's Badminton Club (on Mondays) and Horrabridge Badminton Club (on Wednesday) run junior coaching for young people aged from seven years-old and up. Both clubs run a policy of allowing players to try out the first session for free and there are rackets available to borrow. Further details on the website.

On Sunday, September 16 Tavistock Community Sports Centre, in association with BAT's Badminton Club, will be running an afternoon of badminton.

The format of the afternoon will be a team competition where teams of two men and two ladies will play lots of badminton. The entry form is available from the website.
