A WELL-KNOWN former Tavistock resident has had an experience of a lifetime running with a British Paralympic gold medallist.

Adam Holland, who now lives in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, got the opportunity to run with double leg amputee Richard Whitehead around Nottingham.

Richard Whitehead will be running from John O'Groats to Land's End this month — and local residents will get the opportunity to support him on Friday, September 20, when he will be running from Lewdown to Liskeard.
