THE achievements of 2014 were celebrated by Tavistock Swimming Club members, parents, friends and coaches at their annual presentation evening, which was held at Lamerton Sports Hall.

The club welcomed John Read, a founder of the club 23 years ago, and the Tavistock mayor and mayoress Cllr Harry Smith and his wife Mary who helped with the presentations. There were also thank you gifts to the club coaches, James Lake (head coach), Nathaniel Rookes, David Dennis, Dan Smith, Matt Edwards, Harriet Edwards and Liz Webb.
