TAVISTOCK Young Farmers are holding a Race Night on Friday April 30, at Lifton Farm Shop.

The evening will consist of six races, on which people can place bets, and a buffet and bar will also be available.

Everyone is welcome to attend, with tickets sold on the door at £5, which includes the buffet and a race card.

The first race starts at 8pm. To buy a horse before the event, contact Adrian Cole on 07818 036653.

People will be able to name their horses and if it wins the race, the owner will receive a bottle of wine and a rosette.
