TAVISTOCK police are appealing for witnesses after a house along Dolvin Road was entered last Thursday between 9.30pm and 10pm. The burglars entered via an unlocked front door and stole a ladies? purse and a contact book from a handbag which was on the settee. Police remind people to keep their homes locked at all times. l Tavistock residents who have concerns about policing matters in the town are invited to a special surgery being held in the pannier market tomorrow (Friday). PC Graham Callender and PC Simon Raeburn will be on hand to answer questions from the public during the surgery, which takes place between 9am and 11am.
