TAVISTOCK and Callington firefighters were on the search for a well alight car last Thursday which was reported to be driving from Gunnislake to Tavistock. The Tavistock crew drove up to Cornwall to try and find the car, while the Callington crew tried to find the vehicle around its area. The crews met each other in Gunnislake with the car nowhere in sight. Tim Smith from Tavistock fire station said: ?It?s a mystery what happened to the car. ?It is unlikely the car could have travelled a long distance without the occupants knowing it was on fire.?
