AT a guess I would say it needs at least four people working to keep one that isn't when adding together housing benefits, child benefits, job seekers etc.

If I'm right, then 200 plus, in the case of PoleStar, Okehampton, would require nearly a thousand! To a firm with empty order books, at the end of a steady decline, insolvency can do everyone a favour, this as I understand is not the case in Okehampton.

What about a bail out, a Government bail out??How much would it cost?

Compared to the banking system, who have had hundreds of billions (yes billions not millions) of our money, a very, very small amount, maybe a cheaper option than to keep so many out of work.

Okehampton has been targeted for major housing development. Why almost double the population and halve the jobs? Who will live in these houses? What will they do?
