Euan McCall and Bethany Hulme-Teague married in St Eustachius’ Church, Tavistock on September 12 with 30 guests, just two days before tighter restrictions came into place!
They had their reception at a (Covid-secure) converted barn at Bethany’s parents’ house in Milton Abbot.
Bethany said: ‘We managed to have a socially distanced meal in Church Lane the night before our wedding and a socially distanced post-wedding brunch at my parents’ house as well.
‘We also streamed our service on Zoom to all our guests who couldn’t make it in person and the church provided speakers so anyone waiting outside could hear the service from the churchyard.’
Euan, who has lived in Tavistock for 18 years, is originally from Linlithgow in Scotland and is the manager at Taylors Restaurant in Tavistock.
Bethany, originally from Dorking, Surrey, will soon be regional vice president with digital company Arbonne International. She has lived in the town for 12 years.
The couple, who will be known as Mr and Mrs Hulme-McCall, have lived together on Tavistock high street for five years.
