WHY-oh-why with the foot and mouth epidemic spreading like wildfire do the dog owners of Okehampton have to put up with all the extra dogs and their owners in our park, especially when they are coming from infected areas and letting their dog run free across the playing fields and not bothering to pick up the mess.
I wouldn't take my dog and I'm sure there are other dog lovers who will agree one wouldn't invade their infected areas.
We are trying to contain this 'monster' not to spread it further. So please let's all think of these poor suffering farmers and try to help them all we can.
To those people who are tearing down the warning signs, I say don't be so bloody-minded.
We should be doing our bit like people did in the war, because we are all going to suffer in the end.
