So you reckon Tavistock people aren't romantic? I guess you have surmised this because of the lack of romantic poetic messages in the Times. In fact, you say that love and beauty is lost on its people. I think a few residents might be a touch insulted by your remarks.
Perhaps Tavistock consists of genuine, relaxed, contented individuals who don't need to be verbally outspoken.
We know we live an an area of beauty and perhaps we are so romantic we like to tell our loved ones in private.
Have you visited Tavistock recently? You haven't yet taken me up on my offer of a pint in one of our many splendid romantic cosy inns!
