A?CHILLY charity dip in the River Lew on new year's day enabled Hatherleigh Walruses to present a total of £3,600 to local groups.

The presentation took place at the town's Tally Ho!?Handing over the cheque was treasurer Leanne Anstey, presenting Phoebe Laing-Taylor £1,440 for Hatherleigh Gospel Choir and Tina Brock £2,160 for Hatherleigh Children's Centre Parents' Forum.
