THERE'S an opportunity to enjoy an evening of good music and raise money for a good cause at a concert being held in Tavistock next week.

The event, to be staged in Tavistock Methodist Church, features Vocal Harem with musical director Rosemary Turner.

Also appearing will be Tavistock Community Gospel Choir with their director Tracy Harding and soloist Leslie Mazur-Park on oboe.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

The concert takes place on Saturday October 16 — doors open at 6.30pm.

Mary Mazur-Park will play the organ prior to the beginning of the concert.
