LODESTONE Border Morris from Horrabridge recently entertained visitors from Celle, Tavistock's twin town, with some traditional music and dancing at a special farewell dinner arranged for them on the final evening of a five day stay.

Hosted by Tavistock Twinning Association, the 24 German guests also enjoyed a reception laid on by town mayor Cllr Robin Pike, a cream tea on Dartmoor, a barbecue, and a coach trip to Tiverton to visit a working woollen mill and to navigate the Grand Western Canal by horse-drawn barge.

Association members have been invited for a return visit to Celle in July 2009.
