A CONCERT featuring a mix of professional and amateur performers at Tavistock's Wharf this Sunday is a sell-out. Orchard Studios in Gunnislake is putting on the concert, entitled Variety Showcase 2008: Tavistock's Got Talent, taking the form of spoof auditions for a television programme. The cast of 120, aged from 3 to 75, will perform a mixture of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, juggling, acting and singing, and includes both current students of the studios, those who have gone on to formal training and those who are now professional. One guest artist will be Jeff Jay, who was on the actual Britain's Got Talent television show with his comedy trampoline act. Toby Chapman, a former student, will also be on loan from Jerry Cottle's Circus, where he is starting a career in juggling. The shows are at 3.30pm and 6pm.
