MORE than 30 different events and activities have been lined up for people to enjoy throughout the Tamar Valley this April for the Tamar Valley AONB's Spring Trail Festival.

To celebrate the opening of the Tamar Trails Centre at Gulworthy, people can enjoy a taster day with free activities, or make the most of longer days with the Morning Bird Song walk.

Back by popular demand, the BioBlitz will return to Pentillie for a second year. Other events include Exploring Nature, a walk looking at Lutyens' buildings in Milton Abbot, a woodland family activity day and the Uncovering the Past exhibition will continue its tour of the Tamar Valley. At the end of a busy day, the Rubber Band will entertain with their set of walking-inspired songs.

The festival will run from March 28 to April 7. Free guides will be available by the end of February, or go to http://www.tamarvalley.org.uk">www.tamarvalley.org.uk
