TAVISTOCK police will be cracking down on under-age drinking over the next couple of months.
Community PC Larry Base said they would be giving the problem particular attention, concentrating on discos, parks and other public areas.
l A young man has been arrested and released on police bail in connection with a number of incidents of vandalism around the town.
l A motor-cyclist reported he had been hit by a red motor caravan or people carrier, which failed to stop, at Lydford on Sunday. The incident occurred at 4.30pm.
