ALMOST £15,000 has been raised by the Tavistock Star Trekkers walk held in May ? with more expected. Organisers of the event, which is in aid of Breast Cancer and the Oncology Unit at Derriford Hospital, are still waiting on remaining outstanding sponsorship. If anyone still has their sponsorship, they are asked to send it to Pam Thurgood, 77 Bannawell Street, Tavistock, PL19 0DP, in order for a presentation evening to be arranged with the hospital. Organisers of the event expressed thanks to everyone who was involved.
