EASY-going Dartmoor Tours for elderly people and people of all ages with disabilities start next Saturday and will run once a month until September. The tours are a joint initiative between Tavistock Area Support Services and Dartmoor National Park in order to give people a chance to enjoy the sights of Dartmoor without the worry of transport. All vehicles used on these summer tours are fully accessible and equipped to carry wheelchair users. Attendants, carers and families are also welcome to join the tour. The dates of the tours are Saturday, May 12, June 9, July 7, August 4 and September 8 from 10am to 3.30pm, starting and finishing at the Anchorage Centre in Tavistock. Cost is £6 per person.
