TAVISTOCK Company of Archers junior star Ashley Cackett, 13, was placed joint first in the National Junior Postal Shoot for target archery, a competition for archers aged under 18.
His score of 640 out of a maximum 648, which was shot at his home club, was witnessed by the club chairman and coach before being submitted for the competition.
He was presented with a silver salver to add to his already impressive collection of trophies and medals.
