TAVISTOCK Rotarian Dr Geri Parlby has been awarded the Rotary International's highest honour —a Paul Harris Fellowship. Named after the founder of Rotary, the award is given for extraordinary service to the community. Dr Parlby has been a member since 2007 and was active in setting up REPod (Rotarians Easing the Problems of Dementia) which has spread from its beginning in the Tavistock club to become a national organisation. The award, which is the seventh ever to be presented in the club's 68 year history, was presented to her by president John Moreton.
