OKEHAMPTON man Rodney Drew will be springing into early retirement after calling it a day, having worked for 46 years for bed manufacturer Sprung Slumber.
Work colleagues presented Rodney with a combi-television with digi-box and a bottle of champagne and flowers on his retirement.
Rodney, who was spring shop manager, was the longest serving employee at the company until his early retirement.
A spokesman for Sprung Slumber said: ?Rodney was instrumental in the growth of the company. He had a lot of friends down here and he was the ideal person to work with.?
